Ask A Therapist: Breaking Down The Question: How Do I Want To Feel?

Continuing our journey through the four questions that are the guideposts to your life’s experience, we turn to the question: How Do I Want To Feel? The quickest and most straightforward answer is “good,” “happy,” and “positive,” but that begs the question of why. Why do you want to feel that way? What is stopping you now from that good feeling? What can you increase or let go of to have a more constant base of what you want to feel? In this week’s conversation, we explore the question and walk through steps to identify what emotions you want active daily.

Despite this staggering facts, the White House has released its proposed budget for FY2019 that slashes federal funding for a vital tool in education— libraries and museums.

I saw a post on my local city’s Facebook page a few months ago about an author and fellow resident who was having a book signing at our local Half-Price Books. I was really excited to meet her because supporting local authors is a great way to expand my reading horizons and also to give them support and help get the word out about their writing.
