The word lifestyle has taken on several meanings over the last few years—everything from targeted interests, opinions, and even behaviors.

Nevertheless, it’s essential to go back to the basics, with lifestyle meaning the way in which a person lives. To me, this definition has the undercurrent of the word choice. The way we live comes down to our choices, whether it is in thought or action. For some, that means their choices negatively influence and affect every aspect of their lives—mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical. For others, their lifestyle is about a conscious pursuit of wellness, personal growth, self-awareness, and seeking knowledge—which, then, directly leads to getting your life together through thought-patterns and the forward-moving action of personal development.

Life is just better when we are grounded and progressing.
